15 Months Old - 30th November 2011

Today I am 15 months old.

These are some of the Words I can say, or try to say so far........

* Daddy
* Mommy

These are some of the things I can do, or try to do..........

* Blow Kisses
* Drink through a straw
* Try to put my shoes and socks on
* Sniff the flowers
* Sniff to let Mummy know when my nose is running
* Identify most of my books
* I can get most of my shapes in the right holes in my shape sorter.
* I will tidy toys and books as I am asked to.
* I can identify alot of household objects  and will take them to Mummy or Daddy when asked.
* I can recognise many animals and try to make their sounds or actions eg/  Monkey, Elephant,
   Crocodile, Dog, Lion, Tiger, Cat, Snake, Seal, Duck, Bird, Bear, Penguin, Cow.
  

The end of November 2011

Ive had a poorly week this week with my teeth. One of my top molars has popped through and I don't quite know what to do with myself.

Mummy has dosed me up with calpol, given me teething powders and tried to give me lots of cuddles but I'm still not happy. Ive not really been eating much this week either.

I just want to be left alone to watch the tele and feel sorry for myself :o(

Im feeling a little bit better today, and back to my normal cheeky self.

Mummy was trying hard to get some pictures of us together again........

29th November 2011

We went shopping Christmas shopping with Nanny. I was allowed to have a little run around in Smyths toystore, and play with some toys.

I really liked the look of the Fur Real Friend - Lulu the cat.

I wonder if Santa will bring me one of these if I promise to be good?

Wait a minute....what's that Ive spotted down there? Best run quick to investigate!!

  IT'S A HUGE PEPPA PIG!!

I was soooo excited!

I even found a bed and tried to sneak in for a quick nap!

Later that day, Mummy was teaching me how to play hide & seek.

I wasn't very good at the hide & seek game though......

Pyjama top trick!!

I have learnt a new trick with my pyjama top.

Daddy puts it on me....and I take it half off again...and again.....and again......and again...and againnnnn

Girls night in

18th Novemeber 2011.

Daddy is working nights again tonight.  Mummy and I are having a girly night in on our own.

Mummy spent most of the night on the floor while I had the sofa to myself.

Mummy had a nice night with a bottle of wine while I enjoyed my bottle of milk

Colouring in?

Today, Mummy gave me some paper & crayons to play with..........

I haven't quite worked out what to do with them yet though.....?

I think I'd prefer painting to be honest!

Happy New Bathroom!

Daddy has been really busy over the last few weeks re-doing Mummy's bathroom. Me & Mummy have had to share the En-suite with Daddy while he has been doing it. The En-suite is very cold as it is over the garage, so I am glad he has finished it now.

My Daddy is very clever and good at everything! (Most of the time Mummy said!)


I was the first one to test out the new bath & checked that it worked properly!

Yup....Daddy has passed the NEW BATHROOM test!!  I had great fun :o)

Spoon!

Today I have been practising using a spoon to eat my dinner. I had pasta bolognaise and it was very nice & Mummy said I did very well using my spoon.

I still use my fingers as I can get the food in my mouth a lot quicker........

But I think I am getting the hang of it.....?

Don't play with the lights!!!

I have just started to take an interest in the little lights behind my chair.

Mummy said she is dreading the Christmas tree going up! We may have to find a new place to put it this year!

Lazy Saturday at home with Mummy

There is nothing like a bit of Choccy Chip Bread to start the day. Mummy doesn't normally let me have this for breakfast, but she bought it home from work yesterday as a free sample.....And it is the weekend afterall :o)

It's almost like having Pudding for Breakfast!! Nom Nom!

I run Mummy Ragged today, and we didn't even leave the house! (She said I'm not having choccy bread for breakfast again!)

I can now say Fsssh! (This means Fish)

As it started to get closer to bed time, Mummy put Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on for me to try and get me to sit still

Mummy's plan seemed to work.

Time for bath.......

Finished my milk.....and I still found time for a quick moan at Mummy..

And then off to bed I go at 8:00pm

Rememberance Day ~ 11.11.11

Today is Rememberance Day. A Two miunte silence takes place at 11:00am on the 11th Day of the 11th Month. This marks the occasion of World War 1 coming to an end in 1918, and is for everyone to stop and remember all the Service Men and Women that have died in all wars since then.

Everyone wears Poppy's in support of Rememberance Day as, they are the flowers that grew all over the battle fields after the World War 1 had ended.

Mummy let me hold her Poppy for a minute. It's a good job she had a Poppy Badge aswell though as I pulled the petals off this one!

Daddy took me for a walk to the shop on my Trike while Mummy was at work. I even managed to keep my gloves on all the way there and back!
