In Mummys Tummy

My Mummy found out she was pregnant on the 19th January 2009. What a surprise that was. Mummy & Daddy were not sure they could have babies together after Daddy having had a vasectomy 8 years ago, and then a reversal 2 years ago to try and have me!



This was a few days after Mummy found out she was pregnant.

 Mummy couldn't wait to tell Nanny & Grandad. Nanny was invited around for dinner and a bottle of champagne was opened to celebrate the special occasion.


Mummy had to tell Grandad over the telephone as he lives 200 mile away in Devon. He was really excited though.

Mummy and Daddy only told a few people at first. Daddy told his friends at work, and Mummy just told a few friends. They waited until she was 12 weeks pregnant before the news was broken to everyone.

12 Week Scan  - This is when Mummy & Daddy found out that I was due to arrive on the 18th September 2010. - How exciting!!!

On the 12th June 2010, Mummy, Daddy & Nanny went to Shrewsbury & had a special 4D Scan so they could see what I looked like. Mummy still didn't want to find out if I was a girl or a boy. Daddy was convinced he saw a winky though! hehe  We had lots of photo's taken and a dvd of me inside Mummy's tummy. Here are some of the better pictures....




This is me inside Mummy's tummy on the 12th June 2010. I was 26 weeks old.



This was Mummy's tummy with me inside 2 weeks after the 4D scan. Mummy was about 6 months pregnant.


 

For the next 37 weeks I lived and grew inside Mummy's tummy, gradually growing and moving around, kicking and punching her making sure she didn't ever forget I was there. (Not that she would though...she was so happy to have me)

Mummy only had a few months where she felt sick while she was carrying me. Thankfully she wasn't ever sick though.

Thing's Mummy went off:


Pork & Pickle Pork Pies (They used to be Mummy's favourite)
Daddy! (Occasionally)
Going out. (Especially after a 9 hour day at work with a huge tummy and big fat ankles!)

While Mummy was pregnant, she worked at place called STC Packers in the accounts Department, and was also a Personal Assistant to the Big Boss Man.

Mummy had only been working there for  3 months before she found out about me. Oooops!

Mummy  carried on working and struggling behind her desk with her big tummy until Friday the 27th August 2010.

Grandad came up to stay for a few days that weekend. Mummy, Daddy, Nanny & Grandad all went for a meal at the Fountain pub on the Saturday night, and then on the Sunday Grandad went shopping with Mummy & Daddy so Mummy could buy a few more things to pack in her hospital bag.

Mummy bought a pair of slippers for the hospital, and felt a bit funny while she was in the shop. The man behind the counter was worried I was about to pop put there and then!

Then it was time to say bye to Grandad. He went home that afternoon.

Sunday the 29th August is also Tye (My brothers birthday) That night Mummy and Daddy drove to Crewe and they all (Mummy, Daddy, Sapphire, Tye, Lisa & Saraya) All went out for a Chinese for Tye's Birthday.

Mummy felt a bit funny again.......Maybe things were starting to happen??
