A Cold Day at the Park

This week it is half term & my Brother & Sister, Sapphire & Tye are staying with us.

Mummy has booked a few days off work, so we all went to Sandwell Valley Park.



First we went for a walk down the Nature Trail..

We saw some cows...

We went to the park and I saw a Donkey!!

And a Bee.......

And a horse...

I went on the dragon roundabout with Tye....

And I went on the slide with Daddy

And I went on the see-saw with Mummy

And I went on the trampoline with Sapphee

It was very cold & windy....

Then it was time to go home and Daddy had an ice cream that was nearly bigger than his head!!

Valentines Disco!!

Today is Valentines Day!

Yesterday Mummy took me to a Valentines Disco at Aldridge Community Centre.

It was very busy there and we queued for 20 minutes to get in! There were lots of children of all ages, party games, nail painting and cakes.


First of all I had to check out the dance floor for any competition!

There was really loud music and flashing disco lights. I loved it!

Some children went in Fancy Dress

Mummy couldn't keep me off the dance floor!

Mummy said she had to keep an eye on this boy....but she wasn't sure who was trying to make a move on who!?

I threw plenty of shapes on the dance floor......

I danced with some big girls.....

I helped tidy the floor up in the room by picking up ALL of the sweet wrappers, and burst balloon bits and giving them all to Mummy. She didn't seem very happy about it??

Now the floor is nice and clean look!

I hung around with a few more big girls....

And then it was time to go home

Garden Centre

Today Mummy had the day off work, and Daddy was off work too so we decided to go out and do something for the day.

We were going to go to the Safari Park, but it was a bit too cold and then Mummy realised it doesnt open until tomorrow for the new season.

Instead we went to the HollyBush Garden Centre near to where we live. Mummy said I would be able to see some fish, and birds and other furry (little) animals.

I liked the little fish......

And the Big Fish.....

Until they came a bit too close to the glass!!!

I saw some Koi Karp up close....

They were nearly bigger than me!!

I didn't like the creepy garden ornaments :o(

I didn't really like the Parrot either......

Or the mice when they moved.....

Mummy said she was glad we never went to the Safari Park in the end....Imagine if a Giraffe stuck it's head through the window!!!


We stopped for lunch then.......

I had Cheese on Toast with Brown sauce

And then told Daddy all about the animals I had just seen!....(Or something like that?)

And then just before we left, I saw Noddy!!! Daddy let me have a ride in his car.

And then it was time to say Bye........

Sledging Fun!

Today we still have snow, so Daddy went up the loft to get the sledge and Mummy and Daddy took me sledging acoss the green.

I wasn't sure about it at first, It took me a while to get my balance........

But once I got the hang of it I loved it!!

Even Mummy joined in......

And then it was time to go and get warm and dry again......
