Aayla's World: July 2011

1st July 2011

Sad day today, Mummy and Nanny had 2 funerals to go to. The first one was Jeff, the man who lived next door to Nanny. He got killed last week riding a motorbike.
The 2nd one was in the afternoon. It was Mummy's cousin Ann-Marie's husband. Ann-Marie died from Luiekemia a few years ago. Kevin recently died from liver failure. They left two boys behind, Adam who is 20 & Dan who is 17. Mummy was very upset.

I didnt go to the funerals, but Daddy took me to the pub to Mummy and her family after Kevins funeral.

Today is the 5th July 2011

. Me & Mummy went to Mummy's friend Tracey's to meet her new baby Sophie. She was very cute.

Friday 8th July..................

.Arrrrrrrrrrgh had my 1st accident! I went speed crawling off, my hand slipped & I clattered my mouth on the laminate floor. Mummy went into panic mode & scooped me up while I was screaming. Daddy had to tell Mummy my mouth was pouring with blood.

This was my blood on Mummy's top where she was holding me against her. When Mummy saw how much I was bleeding, she went all funny and had to go and stand in the back garden for a bit.

I was ok afterwards though. So was Mummy after a few glasses of wine.

9th July 2011. My accident didn't affect me too much yesterday, as today I started saying....DadDadDadDad.

Ive learnt a new trick now aswell.....Wooooo! Look what I can do with my bib!!

12th July.....

I can now stand up on my own. I generally just wobble for a bit and then fall over again if I haven't got anything to hang on to.

I also cut my 1st top Tooth today.....and started grinding my teeth.!! (Just because I can!)

15th July 2011.

At baby Peep today we learnt about Treasure Baskets, so when we got home Mummy made me one to play with. We only get it out sometimes though to give me something different to my toy's to play with.

The treasure basket is filled with things like bath scrunchies, a wheat bag, crinkly paper, plastic coat hangers. (All the kinds of things I'm normally not allowed to play with!)

16th July 2011 -

Today is Nanny's Birthday. She was 63. Ooops for some reason...we didn't take any photo's today? Nanny was helping some friends out today though, and we picked her up from there and then went to Jimmy Spice's for a meal at Tea Time.

21st July 2011....Daddy noticed my 2nd Top tooth had broken through!!!

It didn't stop me from watching my favourite programme though!....Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Today was the last day of Baby Peep Baby club. Mummy really enjoyed taking me to this club. We got to do lot's of funny things. Today I got to play with Jelly for the 1st time. It was great. I like to feel it inbetween my fingers & toes, but don't like it in my mouth! Bleeeugh!

That is Charlie there at the side of me. He loved the jelly too!

It did all get a bit much though, and I was more than ready for my afternoon nap.....Up the stairs to Bedfordshire!

19th July 2011 - My big sister Sapphire's Birthday today. She is 12 today!

24th July 2011. Sapphire & Tye came to stay for the weekend. It was really sunny. We all went for a walk around Sutton Park. Mummy took some nice photo's.
