We went there in June last year with Sapphire & Tye as well, but I was only 9 months old and couldn't even crawl so I couldn't do much.
Monday 23rd April 2012
All packed & ready to go on our jolly days! |
You wouldn't believe we were only going for 5 days! |
We set off to go and pick Nanny up and then the 2.5 hour journey would begin.
I slept for most of the way there |
My Mummy |
At 1:30pm we arrived at the site. It was raining hard & quite windy.
Our Home for a few days. (The weather picked up for a bit) |
View from our caravan |
As soon as we arrived at the caravan, we unpacked and had lunch
Silly Daddy |
Eating Pips (Crisps) |
Snuggles with Daddy |
And Snuggles with Nanny |
On the night we went out for dinner at the pub on the site.
Pinching some of Daddy's dinner! |
Silly Nanny |
Tasting Daddy's drink |
Kisses with Mummy |
When we finished Dinner, we went into the children's nightclub called Bugsy's.
There was a family near to where we sat and the little girl had a bubble blowing gun. I kept going to play with her bubbles, so Mummy & Daddy had to go and buy me my own!
It started to get quite late,so we had to start heading back to the caravan. We walked through the Amusement Arcarde, & Mummy let me play on a few things before it was time to go to bed.
Such a long day. It was now about 21:00, and way past my bed time. We went back to the caravan, and I got to sleep in a big bed with Mummy.
Tuesday 24th April 2012
After such a late night, I was still asleep at 9:30 this morning.
Mummy got me up and dressed as Gan Gag was coming to the caravan to see us. Yay!
I showed Gan Gag how I can draw. |
I went outside with Mummy to check the weather so we could decide what we were doing.....
I had a quick lie down on a Hello Kitty Pillow.....
And then it was decided, while the weather was nice we would head for the BEACH!!
Gan Gag took me for a walk on the sand.
Mummy took my tights off in preperation.....
Then the tights came off...and I wasn't happy. I didn't like the feel of the soft sand between my toes!
I went for a walk down the sea edge with Daddy & Mummy. I didn't mind the wet sand as it was firm under my feet.
Just then the rain came down really fast so we had to run back to the car & headed back to the caravan to get changed.
As it was now raining, we all went to the 'Country Life Museum' just down the road from the caravan site.
There were lot's of things there from 100 years ago and more.
This is how people used to dress in the 1920's. |
This is what the push-chairs & prams used to look like 100 years ago. |
Nanny propping up the bar! |
